What is behind the logo?

Contrary to the rod of Aesculapius being looped over by only one snake, two snakes enwind the wand of Hermes, facing themselves on the top. The symbol shows the energetic flow from the left and right gonads of the human (ovaries, testicles), which transfers to the top until it reaches the left and the right cerebral hemisphere. As an evidence, the wand is a symbol for the spinal column, the earth stands for the Base Chakra and on the crown of the head is the Highest chakra as a connexion to heaven.

Comparing the symbol of the rod of Aesculapius being often used by doctors and even more by pharmacies in Europe to the wand of Hermes, you will notice that one snake and the wings on the top are missing on the rod of Aesculapius. The concrete reason was that Aesculapius, who later on was venerated as a Greek god, used to take only one snake (still known today as the nonvenomous Aesculapian snake) on his rod when visiting his patients.
