Mohamed El-Attar

Mohamed El-Attar has many years of experience in the national and international emergency rescue service. Parallel to his graduation as paramedic in the year 2000, he mastered the pedagogical education to become a paramedic instructor. During 8 years, he worked as a training manager at the German Red Cross in the south of Germany and was responsible for the training of paramedics and the further education of all crew members. He has also many years of experience in the training of first aiders and company medical staff in the BLS section. He moved to Switzerland in the year 2007 where he works as a swiss certified paramedic, being responsible for the further education and being able to manage emergency interventions on his own due to enlarged competences. In addition, he got the supplementary qualification as a HEMS-Crew Member (JAR-OPS 3) in 2006 and is actually preparing for the qualification as a USA Certified Flight Paramedic (FP-C). His pedagogical competence in transferring knowledge between theory and practice in the emergency medicine is also expressed when working as lecturer in training courses for paramedics at a academy for emergency technicians. He also performs international repatriation flights of injured and diseased patients from abroad. His qualification as ACLS and PALS instructor supports the project of IRS to offer these courses worldwide. As he has a german-egyptian background, he is the first person to contact for the Arabian region, combining expert knowledge and experience with cultural and language competence (German, English, French, Arabic).
